China'S RichSelf-Made

Recently, UBS and PricewaterhouseCoopers jointly released the report "insight into the 2020 Billionaires". According to the report, there are 2189 billionaires in the world (with net assets of at least 1 billion US dollars), with a total wealth of US $10.2 trillion.

The Asia Pacific region had the largest wealth of US $830 billion by the end of the month, with a total wealth of US $830 billion. There are 762 billionaires in the Americas and 596 in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Among them, the number of Chinese mainland's billionaires increased to 415, a record high, with a total wealth of US $1.68 trillion, an increase of 41% from the beginning of April to the end of July this year, benefiting from the rise in the stock market after the epidemic situation was controlled. It is worth noting that 98% of these people are self-made; there are 65 in Hong Kong and 40 in Taiwan.

According to the report, the wealth distribution of the rich has also been polarized by the epidemic. Health care and technology are the main growth drivers, while traditional industries such as materials, real estate and finance suffer the most.
